Overlooking on one side a Provence inspired light filled courtyard garden and the other facing an organic walled kitchen garden supplying all the produce for the onsite Green Barn restaurant, these are all surrounded by the lush gardens of Burtown House & Gardens our family home since 1710. This studio apartment is great for short or longer stays, set amidst 12 acres of flower, woodland and kitchen gardens, with sculpture parks and meadow walks and Burtown House a 1710 Georgian Villa built by Quakers and having never been sold, is the perfect place to come and escape, relax, inspire, unwind and eat the very freshest seasonal organic produce which is all served up at our Green Barn Restaurant. Guests also have free 24/7 access to the gardens. The large super comfy four poster bed is located in the main high ceilingcelingliving space. There is a polished concrete stairs that leads to a mezzanine space with a working fireplace, sofa & armchair that is ideal for reading and relaxing. The space is full of large photographs taken by James and large shelves houseing a collection of interior and fashion magazines - this was once a photography studio. There are large blinds to control the light and privatize the space. There is a shower room with a strong shower. Although there is not a kitchen there is a fridge, toaster, kettle & Nespresso machine. Brunch is served from Wednesday - Sunday in our Green Barn restaurant which is the other side of our organic walled kitchen garden, There is a south facing sun filled terrace for outdoor dining should the sun shine.
