Fenns Barn & Foggs’ Barn Peak District

Fenns Barn and Foggs’ Barn are situated opposite each other in our farmyard in the village of Butterton 🍽Guests staying at both properties are able to come together in Foggs’ Barn around the large dining table which comfortably seats 14. 🌳A 5 minute walk to the village pub, Black Lion Inn for a well deserved drink. Parties or events not allowed at these properties. The space *🔥Wood fired Hot tubs available for an additional charge. This needs to be arranged beforehand. Please ask before booking. The wood fired hot tubs are filled and heated by guests and this takes about 3 hours before it’s ready for use. If you want to use the tubs on your first evening, it is worth remembering to start heating the tub up as soon as you arrive, there are two wood fired hot tubs, one in the garden of each property. Games Shed available for guests who book both Fenns and Foggs’ barns. Table tennis, badminton and kids’ activities and more in the shed. 🌳The location of our property is in quiet countryside a few minutes walk from the centre of our village, Butterton, where there is the Black Lion Inn that serves locally sourced food and real ales (advisable to book). Guest access 🏡Each property has its own gardens at the rear and the front of each cottage. 🛏Both properties have three bedrooms in each, all bedrooms have zip and link beds. Two doubles and one twin is the standard setup in each property, unless requested at time of booking. 🐄The barns are situated in our farmyard and the properties are opposite each other. 🛏Each property has a single put up bed for the additional 7th guest in each barn. Each cottage also has a travel cot for you to use for younger guests, however you would need to supply your own bedding for the cots. Other things to note 🏡Our combined accommodation of Fenns and Foggs’ Barns, is ideal for groups of families or friends who want to share a meal together. However, the accommodation is not suitable as a ‘party house’ (stag/hen gatherings, etc). We suggest that guests find accommodation that is designed specifically for party gatherings if this is what they require. If having food delivered you will need to give directions to barn as the properties do not have a postal address. Please note that there are two steps up into the kitchen and two steps up into the back bedroom in Foggs’ Barn. All showers have a small step up into them and there are no hand rails in the showers. The wood fired hot tub at each property is charged at an additional cost and should be discussed at time of booking if you wish to have use of these.
