Cosy river cottage

The cottage is just outside of Hella on the south of Iceland standing by the giving fishing river Ytri Rangá. It is easy to buy fishing licence nearby. It is a quiet place with a nice terrace where you can enjoy the marvelous nature. The space The cabin is 30 square meters with a kitchen, bathroom and a private shower room. There is a queen size bed and a double size sofa. Maximum four people can stay in the cabin. There is a free parkingplace outside. This is a perfect place for resting and enjoying the nature and its powerful silence. Guest access It is easy to find the place. It is only 1 km from the highway. If you are coming from Reykjavík you drive to east 93 km on road 1. Just before you arrive Hella you turn right to the road 25, Þykkvibær. Then you drive 1 km and turn left to RANGÁRSTÍGUR. The house is number 3. You can arrive at 4 pm or later and stay untill 10 am on the departure day. Other things to note It is nice to walk along the river and see the beautiful waterfall Ægissíðufoss. There are many beautiful places nearby so we recomend to stay more than one night.
