Three Bears Cottage is based in Eyam, known to all as the Plague Village. A story of courage & self sacrifice from 1665. Today you can explore the history in Eyam museum, visit Eyam Hall with its craft shops, bars & restaurants or just enjoy breathtaking views walking around the village. Close by are the Blue John caverns at Castleton, the magnificent Chatsworth House & gardens, Haddon & Hardwick Halls, Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock, Crich Tramway museum, The Peak Rail, Tissington & Monsal trails. The space Three Bears is about 250 years old. It comprises a lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms (one double, one twin) and a shower room. There is an aga, which keeps it warm and cosy all year round, a microwave, wood burning stove, TV and lots of information about what to see and do in the peak.
