Looking for the lake apartment

Dear prospective guests of our vacation apartment "Sucht den See." We have equipped our vacation home the way we like to go on vacation, namely with everything that is important for the most precious time of the year. The furnishings have been lovingly selected and put together down to the last detail, and the location in a very quiet residential area, right on the Swiss border, does the rest. Welcome!!! The space PLEASE NOTE: We are happy to accommodate our guests for a stay of 5 nights. However, for the purpose of the increased effort, we must then charge 300 euros for one night and a rental price of 200 euros per night for an occupancy of two to four nights. From 5 nights, the rental price per night is 150 euros. Our newly furnished apartment is a three-room apartment on the first floor, newly built in 2015 in a quiet residential area. The extension was built in a wooden frame construction, which adapts optimally to the seasons and the interior is thus pleasantly cool in summer and of course cozy and warm in winter. The underfloor heating and the built-in ventilation system support this feature. In our apartment you will find a stylishly furnished living/dining room with a cozy seating area and a TV. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven, stove, fridge, freezer and a kettle. A selection of different teas, a filter coffee machine and a Senseo coffee machine including pads, as well as sugar and salt, a selection of spices, olive oil and vinegar are at your disposal. A dining table that seats up to six people completes this area. A sliding door leads into a passage room with a large closet and a pull-out couch (160/200). This area is very suitable for retreating or setting up a play area for the children. Another sliding door leads to a large bedroom with a balcony door and a small seating area in front of it. In this room there is a box spring bed (180/200). At the same time, there is a bunk bed with a lower lying area of 140/200 and an upper bed of 90/200. In the bathroom you will find a walk-in rain shower and you can also use the washing machine. So that you can enjoy your vacation even better, there is a small balcony, with a very nice view of the Swiss shore and - in good weather - also of our Alps. The balcony is south-facing and is equipped with a table, chairs, umbrella, awning and gas grill, so that four people can fit on it and you have the opportunity to spend the sun or just the day after breakfast and enjoy the tranquility. The entire apartment on the 1st floor, including the entrance area, may be occupied by our guests. In front of the house it is possible to park the car and there is also space for bicycles. If you arrive by e-car, you are welcome to contact us on our Walbox and refuel our self-produced electricity for a fee. As your hosts, we are usually available for you at any time in the attached neighboring house. We are happy to help you so that you can experience your vacation undisturbed according to your own needs. In our small village there is the possibility to shop regionally at the market or directly at a fruit farmer. Fresh Lake Constance fish can be obtained twice a week directly from the fisherman. Bread is available from the baker and larger purchases can be made at Lidl. In summer, many village and city festivals are celebrated around the lake and there are various large fireworks to admire in Radolfzell, Switzerland and Konstanz. There is a good bus connection to Radolfzell and Stein am Rhein to get from there in many different directions. From the dock in Öhningen/Oberstaad you can get to Konstanz, Radolfzell and also Schaffhausen. It is a 10-minute walk to the Untersee/Rhine. The location is excellent for cycling tours, excursions, hikes or other explorations on the Höri peninsula, in the border area of Switzerland, but also in the far more distant surroundings such as Lake Obersee, cities such as Zurich and Stuttgart and the Alps. Other important information: Tourist tax is not included in the price and must be paid in cash on site. After completing the registration form at the beginning of the stay, each guest will receive a VHB guest card with various discounts, such as free travel by train and train in the region, discount on the cruise ships or discounts in beach resorts and museums. One more piece of information to finish: Unfortunately, your pet cannot take a vacation with us. Guest access The complete apartment on the 1st floor apartment, including the entrance area. In front of the house it is possible to park the car and there is also space for bicycles. Other things to note Tourist tax is not included in the price and is charged per person aged 15 years and over from the 1st January 1, 2024, it will be EUR 2.00 in the high season and EUR 1.50 in the low season. This amount is paid in cash at the beginning of the vacation. Then, after completing the registration form at the beginning of the stay, each guest will receive a VHB guest card with various discounts, such as free travel by train and train in the region, discounts on the cruise ships or discounts in beach resorts and museums. The rental price from five days is 150 euros per day and four people including bed, bath and kitchen linen, as well as final cleaning and there is Wi-Fi access. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with good Wi-Fi or a good German mobile network. You will not be on the network with us at the usual speeds - unfortunately, more is not possible with us at the Swiss border... we are also struggling with this situation - we ask for your understanding. For each additional person (from 5 years of age) we charge 25 euros per day. We will gladly provide you with a cot, a high chair, a changing mat and a baby bath for your children. We charge a one-time fee of 25 euros for this. Our apartment "Sucht den See" is at your disposal on the day of arrival from 3 pm. On the day of departure, we would like to ask you to check out at 10 am so that we have the opportunity to prepare everything again for the next guests. If you wish to extend the departure day, we can discuss this on site and then charge an additional fee of 50 euros. Please note: for organizational reasons, in the period from April 12 April to the 13th September 2025 only an occupancy from Saturday to Saturday is possible! Please note upon your arrival that the entrance to your apartment is not located at Wolfermoosstraße 14, but one street above, in Sornziger Weg. Therefore, please drive up the - quite small - path to Sornziger Weg, then immediately right on the corner. The gray-paneled corner house is Wolfermoosstraße 14. Please ring the bell on the right, at the old building, for the purpose of handing over the keys. In the left new building is on the 1st floor. Unfortunately, the old core borders on a new development area and therefore it is not possible otherwise :-( Please note that this is a non-smoking apartment. And finally, a very important piece of information: When your vacation in our apartment "Sucht den See" is over, you will definitely get a "see(hn)sucht" at home :-) Then this means that you have to come back - and gladly come back to us!
