"Dukkestua" in the heart of Vesterålen. Mountains & Lake.

"Dukkestua" is a small cottage from 1920. The house is nicely located in our garden and has no view from other buildings. It is a nice little house that is well suited as a starting point for traveling around Vesterålen, both in summer and winter. It is about 3.5 km to Sortland city center. The house contains: 1st floor. Hallway, kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom with shelves and double bed. 2nd floor. Alcove/hallway with shelves and single bed and bedroom with queen size bed and children's bed. In the yard we have a patio and barbecue that can be used. The space Built in 1920, completely renovated in 1986, re-launched in 2009, new windows to the west 2017. Heating by electricity and wood burning stove in the living room. Kitchen and living room in open plan. Kitchen has basic equipment, fridge, microwave, kettle and oven. Freezer is located in the hallway. There is no washing machine or tumble dryer in the house. Guest access Guests are welcome to use what is in the residence. But if something should be broken, this will be replaced by the guest. By the sea there is a patio with grill that the guests are welcome to use. It’s a nice spot. Other things to note There is a walking / cycle path from residential to grocery store, Coop Extra. There is direct access to forest and land, take on the shoes on the stairs and take a walk in the field. We have collected some brochures for Vesterålen that can be used for planning your stay.
