Laburnum Lodge at Mercia Marina

Our lodge is located in a quiet area of the Marina (a secure gated community) nestled amongst the immaculately manicured planting but within walking distance of places to eat. Basque all day in the sunshine from our huge south-facing wrap-around deck or walk down to the Boardwalk for a drink whilst watching the sun set. The lodge has no steps & wide doors. Twin or double sleeping options available in bed 2 and the enclosed decking keeps pets & kids safe. Perfect family accommodation. The space Enjoy watching the abundant wildlife, especially the birds which are attracted to our bird feeder. Lodge guests are free to make use of the BBQ's dotted around the award winning Marina, or travel further afield on the bikes available for you to borrow free-of-charge. Our lodge is also home to table football and a swingball set. Laburnum Lodge has two parking spaces with step free access into the lodge, which was designed especially for its first owner, a wheelchair user. Laburnum Lodge is fully equipped with all the essentials, including a dishwasher, Nespresso machine, SMART TV and FibreBroadband. You will also find some more old fashioned extras including a selection of holiday reads and board games. The central dining area seats up to six people, with an extendable dining table. After dinner, retire to relax on the 3-seater sofas with electric reclining mechanisms. Our guest frequently comment on how they love the unique layout of our lodge - with one bedroom one end and the other 2 bedrooms the other side of the central living area. This suits extended families particularly well, offering privacy to all. Outside there are a selection of seating options, to suit sun and shade worshippers. Both bathrooms boast great showers powered directly from the mains, and the bathroom shared by bedrooms 2 and 3 is fully accessible. All bedrooms have TVs. Bedroom 1 is double and en-suite, Bedroom 2 a twin or Super King, and Bedroom 3 houses 2 singles. Bedroom 2 has direct access to the accessible bathroom, with others accessing from the hallway. The lodge of course comes with hotel grade bedding and fluffy white towels as standard. Guest access You will have the lodge to yourself and can access it via the rear door without steps (and wide doorways) Other things to note Our extra large decking area and high ceilings make our lodge a cut above others at the marina, some of which are the smaller layout with less spacious bedrooms.
