In winter it is an ideal starting point especially for cross-country skiers, downhill skiing enthusiasts can use the smaller local ski lift or the Zadov ski resort, which is about 20 minutes away by car. In summer, the surroundings of Kvilda offer a dense network of cycling trails and hiking opportunities.
