Cozy room (aka, small - 10'x10') with an en-suite (attached) 1/2 bath in our remodeled mining-era house. Relax after hiking, biking, skiing or just exploring Leadville and surrounding areas. Full kitchen privileges. Spacious outdoor deck. One block west of downtown Leadville (Harrison Ave.) and two blocks from the start/finish of our races. Sleeps two in a double bed. Attached half-bath plus private bath with shower just outside your door. The Purple room is decorated in various shades of lavender, and is bright and cheery. Room darkening curtains easily block the sunlight for sleeping. There is an en-suite half bath, and a fold down small table & chair. The Purple room is very small & cozy (10x10). We have two other listings: Colorado Dreamin' - Blue Room (larger, with a queen bed) and Colorado Dreamin' - Two Room Retreat (both the Blue and Purple Room as one reservation. We only allow one reservation at a time. Guests enjoy morning coffee/tea, full kitchen privileges including oil, butter, seasonings, spices & condiments, use of the dining room for meals, games, cards or evening conversation, and TV watching in our shared the living room. We live here & work from home. Gear can be safely stored in our locked carriage house out back. In summer, if you wish, you can use the back door to come and go without walking through the entire house (once you check in and get the back door key). We enjoy getting to know our guests around the kitchen island, dining room table or on our spacious outdoor deck, as much or as little as you prefer. Our home is nestled in a friendly neighborhood, one block from downtown. The houses date back to the 1880's during the heyday of Leadville's silver boom. Located one block west of Harrison Avenue, our home is in walking distance of downtown events, shopping, dining and museums as well as the Leadville Race Series start/finish. Like most homes in the area, parking is on street.
