Cabin in the Woods A magical rustic retreat

A rustic cabin in the heart of the Sussex countryside. Tucked away up a long secluded track the cabin is in an ideal tranquil location over looking fields, woodland and a pond. Only 30 minutes from Gatwick and 2 -3 miles from the pleasant market town of Horsham. Walks across fields to local pubs and only 20 minutes from the Surrey hills Guests can enjoy a retreat style atmosphere in this basic but adequately equipped dwelling. Hot tub available on request (price on request) The space As just described the cabin is amongst woodland overlooking a pleasant glade and pond. The cabin boasts a living room with log burner and double sofa bed. There is a bedroom with a double bed, a small equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. There is a fridge freezer available for use and undercover outdoor dining space as well as garden furniture over looking a pond. A large bbq is provided and Fire pit with wood provided There is pathways through the woods opposite amd things to find for the kids ( see photos ) Guest access Guests can enjoy the immediate area around the property which has access onto footpaths and bridleways making mountain biking an enjoyable way to get around. The local pub in Slinfold is about a 20 minute walk across scenic farmland . Dogs are welcome although we do encourage guests to be very aware whilst walking that there maybe livestock and a lead is necessary. Free parking at the property and now with free optional Wi Fi Other things to note Bed linen is provided for both cabin and the bell tent. In cooler months it is advisable to bring warm clothes and extra blankets . The cabin is solely fuelled by a log burner and two hot air heaters We provide a small amount of logs for the winter months (October to end March) for the log burner and wood for the outdoor fire pit However if you would like more or wood for the log burner for spring and summer months and we sell a bag of logs for £5 (see photos) We also provide optional extras. Prosecco on arrival £10, Cream Tea hamper £16.50 (wicker basket not included). Charcoal - 4 self lighting bags £15 and a tube of marshmallows with toasting sticks £5 , HOT TUB (price on request ) Please contact us if you would like any of these extras to arrange for payment.
