The Homestead is situated directly on Jewel Lake and provides a relaxing lake setting surrounded by nature! Our Home is equipped with most items you will find in your own house. A fully serviced kitchen and high-quality linens are just some of the features. Watch a DVD or Blu-ray or listen to your music on the entertainment system. Whether your vacation is a family getaway or a couples retreat, you will enjoy your stay in comfort. The space Have a BBQ on the deck and enjoy your meal in the outdoor dining area. Enjoy the views of the lake from your own furnished, covered patio. The property boasts a private dock to enjoy many watersports. A tandem kayak, 12-foot canoe & inflatable tubes are provided for your use. The public boat launch is on the next street. There are many great trails in the area and historic sites including 3 abandoned gold mines. The area is a great spot for ATV trails. In the winter, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing are steps from the house. We also offer a great hunters getaway. If you like downhill skiing, you can go to Phoenix Mountain Ski Area or Baldy Mountain Resort. The rest of the year, we are only 45 minutes from BC's most famous wineries! * A caretaker suite is attached to the home and the Host may reside during your stay. Guest access The main floor and second floor are for guest access; The private dock and lakefront areas, including the fire pit and hammock; The covered patio and BBQ areas; as well as the outdoor lighted picnic and garden games area.
