Picturesque retreat exactly 2 hrs drive from Calais and Lille, and 1hr 15 from Paris; built 1770s, in a quiet village, ideal for travelling in Northern France, and visiting Paris (about an hour by train from station at 20 minutes drive). The space Bright, comfortable, spacious, charming, rustic, oak beams (watch your head!), beautiful peaceful gardens, with direct access into fields and woods, and village walks. Nearby horses, grazing cattle... Guest access This is a lived-in house; space in cupboards etc is provided but we do not fully clear out wardrobes, pantries, etc. Expect a real house with heart and soul, not a sterile holiday home.
