A beautiful, airy listed studio apartment in the historic old town district of Hastings, right on the High Street close to the boutiques, bakeries, antique shops and world famous pubs. The harbour and beach are a 5 minute walk away. Perfect for a short break by the sea or as a base for exploring the beautiful South Downs and beach resorts along the coast. The walking here is amazing and the cool, relaxed vibe means it's one of the most talked about destinations in the country. The space This is a beautiful Georgian property on the second floor of an historic block on the High Street in Hastings Old Town. Hastings is renowned for it's cultural events and parades, which pass right by the window, so you'll have the best seat in the house. The apartment is incredibly light and airy and the views across to the hills and the famous funicular railway are stunning. There are loads of great pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep, including The Crown, recently voted the best place to have a drink in Britain! England's only beach-launched fishing fleet is based in the harbour, a five-minute walk away, where you can buy some of the freshest fish around. One of the best bakeries in England is even closer. The apartment is a studio, with a double bed. Please be aware that the bed is different to the one in the picture. We replaced the old bed with a double bed, which is more comfortable, but a bit lower to the floor. There is a separate kitchen and bathroom with a shower. If you want a really central base for exploring Sussex, the South Downs, and one of the coolest beach towns on the coast, this is the place for you.
