At the ground floor of around 100 sq. m. there is a very spacious dining and living room area with fireplace and original vintage furniture . The kitchen is fully furnished with all necessary amenities. + espresso On the upper level there are three bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms, balconies and spectacular southern sea views. Each bedroom sleeps two. There are outdoors covered dining and lounge areas overlooking the pool, the spectacular beach and the sea scenery. The villa overlooks St Peter's beach, one of the most beautiful,of the many that Andros has to offer. It is located at just a few kilometres from the port of Gavrion and the vibrant village of Batsi. One can find Tavernas and a supermarket at less than one kilometre distance by the shore. The distance to St peters beech is approx 600 meters of which the 200 meters have incline. The villa is built with the personal care of the owners. All the furniture is custom built or from the private estate of the owners. Apart from exquisite beaches, more than thirty, this is an island of culture and of the arts. Andros has also numerous monasteries dating to the byzantine times with many noteworthy icons. The island is a paradise for walkers throughout the year. There are signed walks allover the island at w(URL HIDDEN) Just 5 minutes away by car from the villa, Agios Petros is an excellent beach for surfing with an experienced surfing center (rents and lessons) Culinary pleasures are also abundent with formal restaurants, gastro tavernas and simple , but indeed gourmet, beach tavernas. With regard to medi care there is a medical center at Gavrio, 3 km from the villas , and a most experienced doctor who serves that area of the island. A dentist is also available. There are a lot of very scenic villages inland, some of them with great sea views . Being traditionally an agricultural, fisheries and shipowners community, Andros has escaped from massive tourism and appeals to the more sophisticated visitor. Remarkable property on a gorgeous island Robert B. This is one of the most beautiful villas and locations we have stayed in. The villa is perched half way up a mountain overlooking St Peter's Beach and Gavrio. The views are truly breathtaking with the islands of Megalo in the immediate foreground and Kea and Giaros in the distance and ferries drifting into and out of the port. Sunsets were magical. The villa itself has a fabulous infinity pool, with outdoor sun loungers, and outdoor table for dining and drinking in the views. The kitchen was well equipped and all the rooms tastefully decorated with air conditioning. The villas is in a super convenient location with the beach, four beach bars and a supermarket literally 2-3 minutes drive down the mountain, with the port at Gavrio 5 minutes drive away. There are dozens of restaurants in Gavrio and Batsi but also well worth the drive to Andros Hora. There are numerous hiking trails on Andros and No.15 is well worth doing from the villa up the valley past the 4th C BC Agios Petros tower and the beautiful sleepy village. Don't miss the drive over the mountains to Vitali beach. Andros is verdant compared to some of the other Cycladic islands with forests and springs and the scenery is beautiful. Our first time on Andros….We booked this house for our group of friends and family to celebrate a birthday and have a 2 week vacation. The pictures do not really do the house justice…we arrived and were all so excited to see that everything was so beautifully done from the decor in the house to the bedrooms all facing amazing Ocean views…waking up there every day was truly a most wonderful experience! The pool was just perfect…The landscaping lush and full of color. The location of the house is perfectly situated between Batsi and Gavrio - we were wherever we needed to be within a few minutes drive. Lastly our hosts Maria and Kostas went above and beyond to make our stay more than perfect. If you are looking for the perfect Oasis in the Greek Isles - this will not disappoint. Nous avons séjourné dans cette villa une semaine début août 2015 avec nos trois enfants. La maison est à flanc de colline, au dessus de la route liant deux villages de la côte ouest, avec une très belle et large vue mer (très au-dessus de la route, pas de nuisance). La baignade dans la piscine est particulièrement agréable avec cette vue. La villa est de très grand confort, tout est a été prévu: ménage soigné, climatisation, équipement de cuisine et électroménager complet et de qualité, petites terrasses ou balcons dans toutes les pièces avec très belles vues. Les chambres, à l'étage, sont particulièrement agréables, claires, spacieuses et soignées. L'accueil des propriétaires est très attentionné, avec des conseils pour de merveilleuses balades et découvertes loin de la foule. My husband and I spent in this unique villa a memorable holiday. Andros is easy to reach and still maintains a charachter of its own : culture and leisure are perfectly combined and many hidden beaches are all around this big island. The house has a high level of comfort and an exquisite styling. The garden and houskeeping service are unobtrusive and the quiet all around is a balsam for the spirit. we felt very at home and the only regret was that we had to leave after 10 enchanting days. E’ quello che ci è successo ad Andros, dove abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trascorrere le nostre vacanze estive. Appena arrivati sull’isola, subito accolti da una atmosfera incantevole, la curiosità di scoprire se la casa che avevamo scelto fosse davvero bella come le foto mostrate da homeaway.com, era incontenibile. La sorpresa ha superato ogni aspettativa: non solo una casa bellissima, con ampie stanze pulitissime, dotate di ogni comfort e finemente arredate, ma anche una vista mozzafiato, emozionante, godibile da ogni angolo della casa, dai balconcini delle stanze, dal patio profumato di gelsomini, rosmarino e bouganville, dalla piscina affacciata sul mare. Davanti agli occhi una infinita distesa azzurra con tre isolette incastonate come perle, sempre lì a guardarti dall’alba al tramonto. Non abbiamo potuto fare a meno di pensare di essere davvero nella ‘terra degli dei’ e che non è certo un caso se il figlio di Apollo abbia scelto quest’isola (cosi racconta la mitologia) come sua dimora. Abbiamo apprezzato tanto anche la zona dove sorge la casa: vicino al porto di Gavrio, spiagge bellissime (molte attrezzate), ristoranti deliziosi ed economici (non abbiamo mai speso più di 13euro, pur non rinunciando a nulla) pochissimi turisti stranieri. Non lontano c’e’ anche la piùt conosciuta Batsi. We were a group of friends, and all of us were more than happy to have spent our holiday at Maria's house. The view is breathtaking, as it is the rest of the house. When we arrived Elias, the housekeeper, picked us up at the port. Our surprise once at the villa was great, as the house is even better than it looks in the pics. Eveything was brand new and clean. Rooms are big and confortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. The position is to our opinion, the best in the island. Maria and her husband were perfect hosts: they gave us a lot of support, and suggested places where to eat and beaches to go to. All informations were accurate and satisfactory. If back to Andros, I will definetely choose this place again.
