Hvolsvöllur Fljótshlíð South Coast Iceland

Our place is close to Hvolsvöllur, Fljótshlíð, Vestman Islands, Þórsmörk, Eyjafjallajökull, South coast, Hella, golf course, Rangá and fishing ponds. You’ll love our place because it is cosy, the hot tub and the amazing view. There is a deck around the whole house. The space The house in a peaceful, quite place where you wont be bothered by others. There is an amazing view from the house over Eyjafjallajökull (volcanic glacier famous for the eruption in 2010), the south coast to the Vestman Islands. It is stunning to view the Northern lights (when they are visible) from the house or the hot tub since the house stands high and no lights are disturbing. Guests are free to use the hot tub. The hot tub and the washing machine might be closed during winter (1 November- 15 April) because of the frost. The last part of the road is not operated during winter and might therefore be covered with snow and impassable by car. Guests might therefore have to walk the last part of the road to the house during winter (the snow can be up to 2 meters high). The cancellation policy is strict so it can be risky to book the house during the winter because of the risk of the road being impassable. Children love the place, they can play freely outside. Icelandic berries (krækiber) grow wild in the land/garden. Guests are welcome to pick them up and eat them. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher. There is a gas barbecue grill outside on the deck. The house has an official permit to be rented out, registration number HG-00000663.
