"Boubouki" Traditional House

Our fully-equipped two bedroom house, with its own private garden and pool, has a true rural feeling! It is located in one of the most beautiful natural paths of Cyprus, but still only 30 minutes away (by car) from Paphos city and its beautiful beaches. The space Part of the Agrotourism Funding Scheme of the EU, Boubouki Cottage is unique in the sense that it combines tradition with modern and artistic details. Even if it is a rural house, it has its own private swimming pool (seasonal, May-October), and thus can be enjoyed at all seasons. Not to mention its garden and views. It is ideal for solo travellers, couples and families. It is also used as an Artist's/Writer's Residency from time to time, since it is an inspiring place. Guest access Guests will have access to their very own yard/garden and swimming pool (seasonal, May - October), secluded from everyone and everything, thus reaching total relaxation. However, bigger villages with more facilities are very close by. Salamiou village with cafes, taverns, a mini market, an open air cinema (seasonal), the Centre of Environmental Education, a Medical Centre etc. is only a 15-minute uphill walk away. Mesana village now has its own coffee shop in the village square that also offers snacks (not open every day), as well as a gallery (seasonal). Paphos with its beautiful beaches and famous historical sites is only 30 minutes away by car. Tzelefos Bridge, a hidden gem with several natural paths, is only 15 Km away and is ideal for nature lovers. Not to mention Boubouki's telescope and portable speakers for those clear, starry nights. Other things to note A baby crib with a mattress and a highchair are available. Wifi connection also, although maybe it's time to leave those screens to the side and enjoy nature :) There is a sofa which converts into two single beds and can accommodate 1-2 extra people, if necessary. Boubouki also has a traditional fireplace called "tsiminia." and ceiling fans in the bedrooms (+ a portable fan). Don't forget to try Mesana honey, one of the best in Cyprus! A village truck with fresh fruit and vegetables also passes by the village from time to time. Listen to the horn, buy and enjoy!
