A relaxing retreat within walking distance to the Clark (Main Street) downtown Republic. The space The suite has a private keypad entrance, and is situated in the downstairs level of my home. The private back entrance welcomes you into the living and dining room area, with a kitchenette stocked with some local favorites. The kitchenette is set up with a 2-burner hot plate, toaster oven, coffee pot, freezer/fridge, glassware/mugs and dinnerware. Your private fenced backyard and patio is separated from the upstairs deck. You have access to a grille for cooking, and patio seating as well. Parking is onsite. This private guest suite is perfect for a short or long stay in the mountain town of Republic. The house is located at the top of a hill with a view, yet only a five minute walk to the downtown main road. The Republic Brewing Company is a quick walk from the suite. The Stonerose Fossil dig site is a two minute walk. There are many hiking and biking trails within a 15-30 minute drive from town! The border crossing is only 32 miles away as well. I keep the pellet stove stocked and ready to turn on for heat during cold winter nights. There is also a baseboard heat thermostat in each bedroom and hallway. The first bedroom has a firmer queen sized bed with a foam topper. If you prefer very firm, just let me know and i can remove the topper. There is a bathroom with all the essential amenities and a standing shower with great water pressure. A washer, dryer, and utility sink is located in the suite for your use. Make yourself at home! Guest access Your suite is located in the downstairs suite of the home, and you will need to take stairs from the side porch to get down to the entrance. The stairs have railings. Light footsteps from upstairs may be heard from your suite.
