Secluded large holiday home in one of the most picturesque regions of Europe. The Old Mill is finished to a very high standard and its peaceful rural location makes it ideal if you want to get away from it all. The space The Old Mill is a fine blend of modern quality finish and rustic homely charm, and with its peaceful rural location, you will instantly feel relaxed and at ease when you arrive - just what you need when you choose peace and quiet over the busy hustle and bustle of coastal resorts. The property is full of character with its wooden beams and restored remains of the old mill workings. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room with two dining tables, two lounge areas with TVs (one upstairs and one downstairs), swimming pool with sun loungers, rooftop terrace, BBQ, paellera (for cooking a paella) and many patio areas. In addition, there are eight mountain bikes. Nearby you can explore the Los Filabres mountain range, visit the natural spring at Cela or take a tour of mini Hollywood in Europe's only desert. Alternatively, you can simply enjoy walking, running or cycling on the endless routes in the vicinity. The Alhambra Palace at Granada is just over an hour away and the magnificent Lake Negratin where you can do water sports is 45 minutes. The property can accommodate up to 16 people (if double beds occupied by two people): Apartment with a double sofa bed (suitable for one person)* One bedroom with a double sofa bed Three bedrooms with three single beds One bedroom with two single beds One bedroom with a double bed *The apartment is self-contained and fully-equipped with kitchenette, ensuite bathroom and double sofa-bed (suitable for one person). There is a laundry area and a studio complete with mats, blocks and massage couch suitable for yoga and other relaxation techniques. Please ask when booking regarding the use of this. Guest access You will have access to the whole property, including the kitchen, lounges, sun terraces and swimming pool, and be free to walk or cycle around the immediate vicinity. Other things to note We can meet you in El Hijate and take you to the Old Spanish Mill. Mountain bikes can be used for €5 per bike per day - we have eight. There is also a studio with a wooden floor complete with mats, blocks and a massage couch that can be used on a daily basis for an additional €15 per day. On the day of departure, we ask that guests leave by 11:00. If you want to leave later, this is possible for an additional cost of €50.
