It is named for the ancient banyan tree at the center of these historic grounds of the Huahine royal family, revered by the Huahine community. Swimming, snorkeling, paddling, diving and fishing are all right there to enjoy in the lagoon. (Surfing is discouraged) Or, you can lounge around on the beach, dock or garden or do nothing! It is conveniently located adjacent to Fare Town where markets, shopping, dining, banks, clinic and the harbor are a relaxing stroll away. Guest access Guests have private use of their bungalows, the gardens, beach and dock. There is ample parking for guests and visitors. Other things to note The bungalows are entirely screened and nearly pest free. There is nothing scary or toxic on the property. It is quiet, calm and safe at Tumu Ora. One warning- the Tumu Ora Canine Choir, the neighbors' team of varied-size dogs that may occasionally entertain you with a concert, never more than a minute, otherwise not annoying barking dogs!
