The cabin has a large open plan living area. Gas central heating and a log burner. The Lodge is sited on the A72 between Innerleithen and Peebles, and nestles between some of the best mountain bike trails. Golf courses and fishing close by. The space Under ASSC protocol, Smiddyhill Lodge is Ready To Go. We have followed government guidelines and advice of how to minimise the risk of Covid-19. Due to the location of the cabin and rural setting it is classed as low risk. The cleaning regime in place will provide reassurance to all visitors. We are following stringent guidelines on cleansing the property after each let. Could visitors please air the property and bag up all linen before departure. What to do if a guest develops or arrives with COVID-19 symptoms ●  According to UK Hospitality guidelines, if a guest presents themselves with symptoms or Covid-19 or is asymptomatic but declares the need to self-isolate, they should be advised to check out and return home to self-isolate according to current government guidance. It has double doors and 4 velux windows that let plenty of light in. The Lodge can accommodate 4 people plus 1 fold out bed. The property has a secure garage for storage. The property is close to the River Tweed, for fishing permits go to Tweed beats. There are two golf courses in Innerliethen and one in Peebles. Easy access to walks and mountain biking routes. The property is close to Glentress and Innerliethen the hub for biking. Private sheepdog demonstrations are available by request through owner.
