The 1918 Farmhouse sits in the heart of Meredith Valley Farm and Cabins. Next to the Watauga River, this peaceful getaway hosts guests on a 145 acre working farm of cattle, horses, and wildlife. The space It's the era of 1918 and The Taylor Family builds a strong history of life on a farm along the Watauga River. Time advances to 1965 and the legacy of The Meredith Family begins memories embraced through the restoration of The Farmhouse in 2008 to become a focal point of gatherings for families to visit. The Meredith Valley home place provides a front porch view with spectacular sunrises over the Cherokee National Forest and an authentic working farm at your back door. It’s a home to remember! Adjoining the 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2 kitchen spacious home is an open air shed. A large fire pit is ready for late night talks with firewood included. Flower gardens are spotlighted and walking areas are abundant to leisurely enjoy. The Watuaga River and Meredith Valley Cabins are a 5 minute walk away. The MVF Cabins and Campground were added in 2001 and add another area to visit with family and friends. Swings and decks over the river provide spots to rest and plan your days on the farm. The beauty of The Farmhouse lures you to stay on the property, yet the local history of Elizabethton calls guests to take in the quaintness of a small town, venture out for a hike or sporting event and then return to your home away from home at Meredith Valley Farm's front porch to relax.
