A one bedroom period cottage in rural location overlooking garden and fields set in a small 17th century hamlet. Totally self-contained, The Old Dairy was originally used by nearby Byfleet Manor, which many people will recognize as a location used in Downton Abbey, as the milking parlour. The Old Dairy is a single storey property approached via gravelled driveway and path with ample parking surrounded by peaceful gardens. There is an EV charging point for small additional charge. The space The area provides excellent walking and cycling along the Wey Navigation waterway leading to Wisley Common, Chatley Heath and Ockham Common. The property is just a few minutes’ drive from Brooklands (Motor & Aviation Museum and Mercedes Benz World) plus the flagship gardens of the RHS at Wisley. There is easy access to the M25 via Junction 10, the A3 and local railway stations Weybridge and Byfleet & New Haw, both providing fast train service to London Waterloo. The cottage is designed for one/two people only, one dog may be accommodated by prior arrangement but please note we cannot cater for large dogs - our spaniel is scared of them! We do request that dogs are allowed in the living area only and not the bedroom.
