The space This cozy, thoughtfully designed guest house blends comfort with conscious living. Built with reclaimed and repurposed materials, the space reflects a deep respect for the land it sits on. Our composting toilets and grey water systems are part of our commitment to sustainable tourism, allowing guests to enjoy modern comfort while minimizing environmental impact. After a day of mountain adventure, soak in the hot tub under the stars, cool off in the seasonal pool, or gather around the fire pit as the mountains settle into stillness. Inside, the space is warm and inviting—perfect for deep rest, quiet mornings, and unhurried evenings. A Place for Quiet-Minded Guests This is an 18-and-over property, intentionally created for guests seeking peace, nature, and uninterrupted rest. You’ll hear the wind in the trees, the occasional nicker of horses, and very little else. A Stay With Purpose By staying here, you are directly supporting the rescue and rehabilitation of horses who now call this ranch home—allowing your getaway to have a meaningful impact. If you’re seeking a restorative escape that values quiet, nature, and sustainability—while remaining close to Albuquerque and Santa Fe—this mountain retreat is ready to welcome you. Guest access The guest house is located on your left as you enter the property. Parking is located in the front or across from the barn. We will accommodate late check ins and checkouts as long as it dose not interfere with in coming guest. There are two full bathrooms down stairs, one is en suite and the other is shared. A quarter bathroom is shared by the two upstairs bedrooms. We use composting toilets and we are on a gray water system. We will give you instructions upon your arrival. The upstairs deck has a beautiful view and is accessible via upstairs bedroom. Please feel free to explore the property. We do ask that you do not enter the paddocks where the horses are without express permission or accompanied by someone that lives on the property. Also please do not feed our animals without express permission. Please do not start an open fire without clearing it with the host and we do not allow smoking on the property. Because of insurance restrictions we do not accept children under 18. Other things to note We use composting toilets and grey water tanks. All instructions are provided. We ask that you use eco friendly products or the products that we provide. A recycling bin is provided under the island in the kitchen, please use it. If the trash fills up it may be disposed of in the garage at the main house. At this point we ask that you use recyclable cups and dishes that are provided or you can wash dishes. However please do not put proteins down the sink. Also sorry to have to add this but please do not urinate in the shower or bathtub. Thanks for helping us be environmentally friendly.
