Gamla Goviks Gård is a newly-renovated gem from 1909. Inside, it has high ceilings and is full of nice details such as antique window sections, timber walls and visible beams. A 3-minute walk takes you to Govik's swimming area with 2 small beaches, a diving tower and bathing jetties for the little ones. Lovely viewpoint is up on the mountain next to the farm. You live in the heart of Bohuslän and are a 5-minute drive to the village of Brastad with grocery stores and 12 minutes to Lysekil with shops, cafes and the Sea House. The space Govik's farm's big house is rustic and filled with atmosphere. Located just a 4-minute walk from Govik's swimming areas, it is a top location for families who love to swim. The big house of Old Govik's farm is rustic and filled with warm atmosphere. Situated only a 4-minute walk from Govik's two "bathing-bays", suitable for the swimming-eager families. The house itself has been carefully renovated from 2011 and completed in the summer of 2017. There are many older details preserved, such as exposed ceiling beams, wooden floors, no less than three bay windows with antique windows and exposed timber walls. When you enter the house, you have the bathroom directly to the right with toilet, shower and laundry and dryer. If you go straight ahead, you enter the kitchen with dining area and a kitchen area with large fridge/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, stove, oven and cozy kitchen island with seating. From the kitchen, you have contact with all the other rooms in the house. In the kitchen, the ceiling goes all the way up to the ridge. Next to the kitchen downstairs is a small veranda. Inside the kitchen on both sides are two spacious bedrooms with comfortable double beds and a child's bed in each room. When you go up the stairs, there is a small toilet and a large living room with two sleeping alcoves with spacious 120 beds and space for clothes under the sloping roof. Upstairs, there is another room with bay windows and glass sections both out towards the mountain and in towards the large living room. In this room, there is sleeping space for two. Around the house is a lawn and you have access to a large barn with long tables and many seats as well as a courtyard that is shared with any guests in the small house. If you are a larger group, it is possible to rent the small house as well, located on the same farm with beds for an additional 7 people, kitchen, toilet/shower and washing machine. Lahälla is located in the countryside surrounded by meadows and fields and very close to the sea. 20-minute drive to the zoo, about 30 minutes to Nordens Ark and to Hunnebostrand, Smögen and Kungsan 35 minutes. 15 minutes away is the community of Lysekil. Brastad is the nearest community only a 5-minute drive away, where there are two grocery stores, flea market, pizzeria, hairdresser and bakery. Guest access Guests have access to the entire large house, the lawn around the courtyard and the dining area up in the barn, which is shared with the guests in the small house. Guests are not allowed to stay inside the closed part of the barn. The guests will have access to the big house, the lawn that surrounds it, the yard and the dining place up in the barn. The guests will not have access to the closed parts of the barn. Other things to note Summers are getting warmer and dryer, and the garden and flowers are getting thirstier. Our summer guests have to watch over flower beds and garden and give water to plants, flowers and greens when it is dry, warm or needed during their stay. This is Super Important. We love our plants. Our summer guests have a responsibility to look after flower beds, plants and greenery around the house and on the property during their stay and water when it is dry, hot and needed.
