Once home to thriving crops — lettuces, tomatoes, asparagus, and spring onions — the land has now transitioned into rolling green meadows where wildlife and guests alike can flourish. Three natural freshwater lakes, originally used for irrigation, now provide a picturesque backdrop for birdlife and peaceful reflection. ⛺ Accommodation Two private hot tents, each sleeping up to 4 people Pets welcome 🐾 Each tent includes: Wi-Fi, electric supply, fridge, bedding, wood burner and fire pit Surrounded by generous private grassland for lounging, reading or stargazing Two of the lakes sit directly in front of the tents — a truly tranquil view 🌳 Atmosphere & Activities Pennlake Vale is perfect for those seeking a private countryside getaway — quiet mornings, scenic walks, and evenings by the fire. The site occasionally welcomes a local clay-pigeon shooting club on select Sundays. They use a distant corner of the farm, well out of sight and sound from the tents. Friendly faces like Jason, the long-time farm manager, may greet early walkers along the way.
