You will enter up the stairs into the first floor where there are 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths as well as the laundry room. The top floor has an open concept with a more than spacious modern kitchen and living area. Enjoy your meals at the locally built custom dining table. Off this floor is the master suite with another king bed and its own private bathroom/shower. Enjoy the expansive deck with stunning views. There are chairs and a large picnic table to enjoy the space. The backyard is fully fenced in with a pool and concrete space. The pool can be heated for an additional fee of $50 per day (charged for the full stay). The pool is available until December 1st and after March 15th. Pets are allowed if pre-disclosed and a non-refundable $125 fee per pet is paid. Guests are responsible for any and all damages. Guest access This home is off of Colony drive in Salvo. Colony drive is the easternmost road through the neighborhood and loops back into Hwy 12 on each end. The house has a shared entry with private driveway and covered parking. There is small 6x6 post at the driveway entrance that is marked with the house number 26653. You enter here and follow the gravel drive between two homes to access your vacation dream house. There are both covered and concrete parking areas. The house is a cedar shake, two story home. Other things to note There is a great fully fenced in yard around the pool with irrigated & turf grass. This area is a great space for lounging, games or the like. The pool can be heated for an additional fee of $50 per day charged for the duration of your stay. The pool is available until December 1st and after March 15th. The house is equipped with an outdoor fireplace that is useable upon the right conditions as well as signing the usage agreement. Rinse off with a large hot/cold outdoor shower. The beach is about a three minute walk through Cape Hatteras National Seashore designated path. This path is directly accessed through the north gate. Don't forget to wear your shoes as the sand gets quite hot and there may be a pesky cactus around to say hi to your foot. If you require a more stable path or boardwalk then the walk over the dunes may be a bit challenging. The front yard has native landscapes along with a few palm trees to give you that island feel. There is plenty of space for your pet to explore here as well. As a courtesy there will be beach chairs and a big wheel cart to help you bring belongings back and forth to the beach. If you require specific beach items please make plans to bring or rent. Pets are allowed if pre-disclosed and a non-refundable $125 fee per pet is paid. Guests are responsible for any and all damages. This house is set up for a maximum 8 guests. The septic is designed specifically to accommodate only 8 guests and will cause problems if this policy is not followed. There is a motion detected camera that faces the driveway and entrance area.
