The castle from 1253 is about 15 minutes by car from Regensburg with all its historic attractions. We rent four double rooms each with a private bath and privat toilet on the first floor. Guests walk on original 17th century pine boards. There is one kitchen for guests. The hosts live on the second floor. The office is on the ground floor. There is also the opportunity for hiking. The bicycle path Regensburg is close by. The space The 4 guests rooms are authentic 17 th and 18th century with additional modern amenties like electicity and heated walls. Each bedroom has a private bath with shower and WC. Some frescos date back to the 13th century. There are stunning views of the Wenzenbach valley and its creek. There is a chapel that can be rented for weddings . Adittional rooms can be rented for birtday receptions, seminars, courses and photo shootings. Guest access Aditional rooms can be rented for meetings and conderences. There is the "red salon" heated by a 17th century tile stove. The baroque chapel is available for weedings or concerts. Other things to note There is an ongoing restoration of the medieval fortification around the castle.
