Stable Yard Cottage is a beautiful, spacious yet cosy cottage located in a secluded courtyard close to the heart of a little Scottish village. It has charming country views south across Blackadder River to Greenlaw Mill Farm and Catmoss Hill forming one of three sides of an open courtyard, together with walled yard and the estate wall of Castletoun House. Unusually for a village property the position offers a certain seclusion without being isolated. The cottage has been sympathetically refurbished and furnished with a pleasing mix of contemporary and period furniture which gives it warm and homely feel. It is very spacious with all the bedrooms and two bathrooms situated upstairs leaving the kitchen, living/dining room and a utility room (with a toilet) downstairs. All rooms (except the laundry room) have open southerly country views giving the cottage this sunny and light feel to it.
