Tervetuloa! Come and let me show you the best our beautiful area can offer. My cosy lodge offers great possibilities for activities in nature. It is the best option out there for an authentic Lapland experience in a secluded setting: being situated far away from the city, there is no light pollution, so the northern lights are especially visible here. Come with your friends or family, spend time together, and create amazing memories! The space My house is located in the middle of Lapland’s forests, so you will be able to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and nature around you. The air is clean and fresh and there is no traffic noise or other people roaming around. Generally, my cottage is suitable for 10 – 20 people. There are 16 beds in 6 bedrooms and 4 extra beds can be arranged in the living room. The living room is very big and it is great to spend your free time. The kitchen is fully equipped with necessary amenities as well as dishes. The house has a traditional Finnish sauna that you can use anytime you like. Furthermore, I own a private pond where we can arrange ice-fishing. If you are up to something romantic, I can warm up an outside sauna and hot tub for you. If you are lucky, you can watch the northern lights sitting in the hot water. At my place, I can arrange a variety of tours for you including private husky rides, snow mobile rides, Arctic nature experiences etc. which start directly in my garden. You will profit from much better prices and the safaris will be tailored to your needs and wishes. By booking the safaris and activities directly from me, you avoid agent commissions, saving you effort and money. Guest access You will be able to access all rooms in the lodge including the common kitchen, living room, bathrooms, bar and inside sauna. The outside spaces (patio and pond) are at your disposal as well. Use of the hot tub and outside sauna can be booked separately for a fee. Other things to note You don’t have to bring any specific gear to Parpalandia. We have a variety of winter clothes, shoes and equipment needed for our tours available at the cottage itself.
