Modern apartment by the Bergen sea

Modern apartment at the Bergen seashores, approximately 10-15 min drive from citycenter. The flat includes living room, kitchen, bedroom, bath/toilet, hall and outside terrasse. New buildt house in 2015 with high standard all over. Double bed in bedroom and also a double sofabed in living room. The space The apartment is located in the popular Bergen suburb called Søreide. This area is close to both the city center and to the airport as these destinations are both only a 10-15 minutes drive away. There is a bus stop in the street right behind the house which is on the bus line number 52. Close to Søreide is also Dolviken Terminal which is a connection point for public transport around Bergen including City Center, the AirPort and bus line 52. Grocery stores are both at Søreide centre and by the Dolviken Terminal, approximately 1 km from the house. The property is also just a couple minutes away from the business areas called Sandsli and Kokstad which offer shops and cafés etc. After the new highway called "Ringvei Vest" opened in November 2015, the drive from the apartment to Bergen city centre is very quick and takes only approximately 10 minutes. There are good cycling roads in all directions from the property. Here follows transport information to the apartment: By car from Bergen City Center to apartment: Take either road 555/557 southbound via Loddefjord to Dolvik, or 540/557 southbound via Fyllingsdalen to Dolvik, or E39/556 eastbound via Fjøsanger to Søreide. Take then 556 from either Dolvik or Søriede to the exit to 178 to Grimstad. Drive approximately 1 km on 178 and exit to the right and immediately after that to the left and the house is the second house on the right hand side. By car from Bergen Airport to apartment: Take road 580 eastbound and exit to the left to 556 at Birkelandskiftet. Follow 556 to Dolvik/Søreide and exit to 178 to Grimstad. Then follow the description above. By Public transport from Bergen City Center to apartment: The Bergen City bus station is next to the Bergen City railway station. Take bus line 51 from the bus station plattform J (or from Nordahl Bruns gate in the inner city center) to Dolvik Terminal. Alternatively take bus line 50E from bus station plattform E (or from Olav Kyrres gate plattform B in the inner city center) to Dolvik Terminal. Connect to bus line 52 at Dolvik Terminal to Ytre Hammersland which is the bus stop only 50 meters from the house. By Public transport from Bergen Airport to apartment: Take the city train called "Bybanen" line 1 (or the airport express buses) to Birkelandskiftet and connect to bus lines 51 or 50E from Birkelandskiftet to Dolvik terminal and finally connect to bus line 52 from Dolvik terminal to Ytre Hammersland (the house). The bus frequence at line 50E and 51 is good. At line 52 it is also OK, however on bank holidays and Sundays the frequence is low. See the web site to the bus company called Skyss for time tables. You can definately get around by public transport, however a rental car will normally be preferable. Guest access Our guests will exclusively have the hole apartment for themselves. The apartment includes living room (with sofabed), one bed room with double bed (140 cm), modern bathroom with wash machine, hall and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, induction cooking plates and dish washer etc. Please note that the apartment is not very big. We guess the apartment area is approximately 35-40 square meters. Even though there are space for 4 people to sleep - 2 in bedroom and 2 in sofabed in living room - the apartment is probably smaller then a typical four people apartment. Outside our guests are welcome to use the terrace area outside the apartment entrance and the beach. Cars can be parked for free either at the property (along the black fence) or in the street just by the property. Other things to note Please note that the apartment is not very big. We guess the apartment area is approximately 35-40 square meters. Even though there are space for 4 people to sleep - 2 in bedroom and 2 in sofabed in living room - the apartment is probably smaller then a typical four people apartment.
