It is a truly peaceful and rural location, enjoying panoramic views of the rolling downland yet is close to all the attractions of Chichester and Portsmouth. The property accommodates up to 4 people and has been tastefully furnished over 2 floors, with a charming patio sit out area overlooking our pony paddock and the South Downs. The open plan kitchen and dining area are on the ground floor with steps down to the conservatory and double doors to the patio. Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms and bathroom. There is a huge network of footpaths and bridleways running from the property, and the area abounds with wildlife. We regularly see deer, foxes, badgers, red kite and buzzards from the garden, and the village peacocks often drop in to see us. The village pub serves a range of beers and excellent food (Saturday morning breakfast is delicious!) and is only a short walk away. A small shop and tea room, a village pub, playground/tennis court and church can be found in Compton, less than a mile up the road. Guest access Booking Downsview gives guests sole access to the property, a sit out area overlooking our paddock, and an outdoor dining area and lawned garden with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. Other things to note We have 2 properties available to guests, each self contained and guests can interact as little or as much as they wish with us and other guests.
