The downtown area, the clear rivers that flow across Uvalde County, and the Kickapoo Casino are all nearby and waiting for you to visit. The space CHECK IN AFTER 3PM. Total number of guests (2 maximum) must be declared prior to arrival. BATHROOM: •The number one disruptive issue we have with guests is the flushing of hygienic wipes down the toilet. Soiled wipes must be wrapped in paper and placed in the trash can. Hygienic wipes are also known as baby wipes, facial wipes, make up removal wipes. •Be sure the shower curtain is tucked inside the lip of the shower while bathing •Hang towels on the hooks in bathroom; Do NOT place them on the floor LIVING AREA: •Access to The Reefer: House Manager will send Door Code to you on your check-in date •Wifi password: House Manager will send password to you on your check-in date •Extra blankets are on the shelf in the bedroom area •Leave bed linens on the beds; Do NOT place them on the floor •NO PETS ALLOWED IN THE REEFER •35” Flatscreen Television with Netflix streaming service. A new Roku box has been installed and it may take several minutes to warm up and for the home screen to appear. KITCHEN AREA: •Appliances Provided: Keurig Coffee Machine; Small Refrigerator; IKEA Hot Plate •Basic pots, pans, dish set and utensils provided •You must bring your own condiments and spices •Please dispose of trash in the outside dumpster located behind the Big House •Game cleaning is permitted OUTSIDE. Do not clean game inside The Reefer. Reefer linens and utensils are not to be used for game cleaning PET POLICY: Pets are not permitted in The Reefer. No exceptions. THE PROPERTY: •Please be advised of ongoing construction. Stay in the common areas and be careful when walking around the property. •We have a surprisingly large variety of birds that visit us year after year, so you may want to bring your binoculars. •We are not dark sky certified, but its dark enough to view the stars. Star gazing and telescopes are welcome. CHECK OUT BY 11AM: 1. Turn Off AC/Heating Unit and all lights 2. Place Trash In Outside Trashcan Behind Big House 3. Travel Safely To Your Next Destination! Guest access In the early sixties, the rural subdivision known as Uvalde Estates was carved out of a large ranch. Most of the original homeowners are gone now, but you will see firsthand the rejuvenation of this mature neighborhood taking place.
