Our lovely Vermont getaway is a fabulous place to relax and unwind. Surrounded by National Forest woodland you will find yourself reconnecting with family and friends in a private, quiet location. Our cabin has been hosting guests for over 30 years, including many students, professors, and alumni of Middlebury College & the Breadloaf School of English. Located off the beautiful 125 corridor, the property is tucked in the Robert Frost National Forest on 10 acres. The location is beautiful and private with lots of woods to explore. The home has three bedrooms and one bathroom. The Upstairs has two bedrooms, the front bedroom has one queen bed with a work station. The second bedroom has one double bed and a trundle bed. The downstairs original cabin has one queen bed and a bunk bed. The bathroom is located on the first floor and has a stand up shower. The main floor is open and has a living room, dining area and kitchen. There are lots of windows to enjoy the scenery. There is a large deck for grilling, eating and relaxing, along with a smaller screened in porch. The front yard boasts plenty of room and a large fire pit to enjoy. We have recently installed Starlink for 2022 and are excited for the internet access this allows. However, please check in directly if you are considering a remote work situation. The location is very central to the area, with lots of rivers, hiking and lakes to explore. Day trips are easy to most locations in central Vermont, we are 15 minutes to Middlebury, 20 minutes to Brandon, 20 minutes to Lincoln, 30 minutes to Vergennes, 45 minutes to Rutland, 45 minutes to Waitsfield, and 1 hour to Burlington, Guests have access to the entire home & outdoor space. Very private location, no other neighbors are visible. The North Branch Road is a great place to walk and explore the rural area. Parking is easy for multiple cars.
