The Cottage at Priors Dean

This luxurious cottage is set in breathtaking countryside within the new Southdowns National Park in the heart of Hampshire . . . no road noise! It is located within the extensive grounds and magnificent gardens of the main house. The space The Cottage which accommodates 6 luxuriously in 2 doubles (one massive) and 1 twin room also has 2 bunks for occasional use so it actually sleeps 8 perfectly comfortably but probably not for 8 adults if you are using the cottage for a weekend in with no other activities. i.e. it would be perfectly suitable if you are going to a local wedding or event but you might find it a bit congested with eight adults and no outdoor activity! The outdoor space is sensational in that it has a large covered eating area with an outside fire place and BBQ. You can even out here with a roaring fire in the winter! We have an astro turf tennis court which we are very happy for guests to use. However we request that guests book the court before using so that we can plan our own games too! We also have a heated outdoor pool which is available to guests extremely occasionally please note that the pool is never available at weekends - WEEK TIME ONLY and only if the main house is not occupied . Please enquire for further information. Guest access There is a big trampoline next to the cottage set in a wildflower meadow and long grass which guests' children are welcome to use. There are fantastic local walks with a couple of excellent pubs at the end of your hike! It is also a great area for cycling - the lanes are small and you can easily avoid main roads. Other things to note We have a minimum stay of 2 nights. Check in at 4pm and check out by 12 unless by prior agreement. For weekend bookings where we have no booking on the Sunday, you are most welcome to stay til late if you would like! Please enquire prior to your stay.
