Self contained cottage with its own front door, and a peaceful outdoor patio for your morning coffee, or evening drinks. The open plan living area has a comfortable 2 seater sofa, 32'' TV, fully fitted modern kitchen with complimentary tea, coffee & milk and a dining table and chairs. Smart TV, a range of books, maps and games plus free wifi are included. A useful store off the lounge is ideal for suitcases, coats and shoes. The double bedroom is accessed via an open tread staircase from the living area. It has a dual aspect, with a view across open fields. It has a double wardrobe, drawers and bedside tables. A hairdryer and hot water bottles are provided. A modern shower room is accessed from the bedroom . Luxury shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap are provided along with soft fluffy towels and high quality bed linen. Guest access Access to the fully self-contained cottage is via a lock box at the property. Guests have sole use of a free, private, off road parking space for 2 cars directly outside the cottage door. There is a small flagged garden outside the cottage complete with table and chairs for your morning coffee on sunny days. For those wanting a cooked breakfast without the work, a local café 2 minutes walk from the cottage gives discount to our guests. We have also negotiated other discounts for local amenities that are detailed within the welcome pack on arrival. Check in is from 4.00pm onwards and check out is 10.00am. Earlier check ins and later check outs may be possible depending on availability, so please ask if this is something you would like to request. We will always accommodate this where possible. Other things to note Thornes Cottage is located on a private road in a quiet hamlet, in relatively close proximity to other cottages. As such it is suited to couples and solo travellers seeking tranquillity. There is parking for 2 cars You can step outside of the front door and immediately be in open countryside for walks and fresh air or soon be in reach of Huddersfield Town Centre and neighbouring cities of Leeds & Manchester.
