Open to guests since 2013, no 3 The Old Dairy is a delightful country retreat for two. Set in a small farm on the edge a tiny hamlet, the cottage is comfortable and well equipped with views across the fields. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we are in a 'dark skies' location - plenty of stars. Only 5 miles from Wimborne, 8 miles from The New Forest and 12 miles from Sandbanks this is an ideal base for exploring Dorset and Hampshire. Perfect for a weekend away or longer stay. The space This one bedroom cottage has a super king size bed that can be split into 2 singles if required, a wet room with walk in shower and a lovely comfy kitchen/living area overlooking our fields. New super fast INFINITY broadband with BT smart DISC technology has been installed. If no 3 is already booked, please look for no 1, it is just as nice, with all the same facilities. Guest access The orchard leads to the public footpath that crosses one of our fields. PLEASE do not book no 3 if you have mobility issues. there is a stoney path to the cottage and 3 steps up to the courtyard. No 1 is closer to the car park and no steps. Other things to note There are 2 steps from the path to the cottages' courtyard garden. We are not on mains drainage, so wipes of any kind, including 'bio degradable' and 'flushable', must not go down the loo.
