Make yourself at home in our family-friendly vacation rental right here in our house, located directly on the bike path in the Tauber Valley. You’ll find 2 separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a tub and shower, and a terrace. Children 12 and under stay for free, and we’re happy to provide a travel crib. For cyclists, there’s a lockable bike storage room with e-bike charging stations. It’s also ideal for business travelers and longer stays. The space Welcome to the Münch Vacation Rental Our cozy attic apartment in Hochhausen near Tauberbischofsheim is a lovely temporary home for families, cyclists, hikers, and business travelers. It’s in a quiet location right on the Taubertal Bike Trail. Children 12 and under stay with us for free, and we’re happy to provide a travel crib free of charge for babies and toddlers. Sleeping & Living You have two separate bedrooms: one with a double bed (180x200 cm) and one with a single bed (90x200 cm). Families and business travelers especially appreciate the separate sleeping arrangements. In the living room, you’ll find a cozy couch (which can also be used as a sleeper), satellite TV, a stereo system, books, board games, and a vintage game console. The record player and a vinyl collection from the '70s and '80s bring a blend of coziness and nostalgia to the comfort of the living room, which was redecorated in 2025. You can receive numerous international TV channels via satellite. Kitchen & Dining If you enjoy cooking or are staying with us for an extended period, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, toaster, fully automatic coffee maker, and coffee machine. A cozy corner bench with a dining table provides space for shared meals. We also provide a basic selection of spices, as well as vinegar and oil, so you don’t have to bring everything from home. Coffee, tea, espresso, milk, and sugar are always included, as are a bottle of water and a bottle of locally produced apple juice. We know from experience that having drinks ready for the first night—and especially coffee on the first morning—makes for a better start to your vacation. Bathroom, Terrace & Garden The bathroom features both a bathtub and a separate shower—which is especially convenient when traveling with children. Towels, bathrobes, a hair dryer, and a makeup mirror are provided. A separate entrance leads to the ground-level covered terrace and garden, which you’re welcome to share with us. You’re also welcome to help yourself to the kitchen herbs. Cyclists & Longer Stays Your bicycles or e-bikes will be safely stored in the lockable bike room, which includes charging stations. Parking is available right next to the building, and Wi-Fi is, of course, free. This makes the apartment ideal for business travelers, project team members, and longer work-related stays. Guest access You have access to the apartment, of course, but also to the laundry room in the basement with washing machine and dryer (detergent available). In the garage integrated into the house you can park bicycles and bike racks and charge e-bikes. The terrace you share with us, although we are so much on the road that you have it alone most of the time. In the apartment there is a tray to take coffee etc. down with you. Cushions for the chairs and coasters for the big table there, there is on the terrace. Other things to note We have a cat in the house, but it does not go into the apartment and has never been there.
