You can fish off your own quay heading (licence required), or embark on some great walking or cycling routes in the surrounding area. The coast is a short drive away where you can enjoy Great Yarmouth, with its traditional seaside experience, or perhaps the sandy dunes of Winterton-on-Sea with tern and seal colonies, an incredible sight. Jump on the train to visit the fine city of Norwich, boasting a theatre, castle museum, cathedral and excellent shopping, with two indoor shopping malls, market square, cafés, restaurants and pubs.
