Delightful Cottage in Picturesque Rural Village

Dalemore is a very special place overlooking the cobbled ford in the hidden Peak District village of Butterton. It is set in its own grounds and is within walking distance of the award-winning Black Lion Inn. Accommodating up to 6 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a double sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen, wood burner for cosy nights in and dining opening onto the brook-side terrace, it provides the perfect Peak Park getaway. The space Dalemore Cottage is set in its own south facing grounds in a tranquil position overlooking open fields, there are numerous spots to sit and relax after a hard days walking. The garden is on several levels with a narrow bridge over the brook so children do require supervision. There is a well equipped gym and sauna available for guest use at Active Stays HQ a 3-4 minute walk away at Greenhead Cottage. You will be welcomed to Dalemore Cottage with homemade bread, cookies and local free range eggs, we also offer a popular fill the fridge grocery and home cooked meal service. Menu available on booking. Late Sunday check-out available on request for weekend stays. Guest access The cottage sits in it's own grounds with parking for two vehicles and secure undercover bike storage on site. Other things to note There is undercover secure storage for bikes, and we can provide access to a workshop for any necessary maintenance in our yard a few hundred meters up the road. There is a narrow bridge and open brook in the garden so small children need constant supervision. Unless you are very keen cyclists or walkers a car really is advisable, there is parking on site for two cars any additional vehicles can be parked in our yard 200m away. Please do not park in the lane. You are welcome to charge your vehicle at Greenhead Cottage (200 m away) there will be an appropriate charge.
