Northern Light, skiing, kayaking at Vannøya

This is the ultimate location to see the northern light in the winter, and the midnight sun in the summer. Add great hiking, kayaking and fishing, and you come to our remote paradise. Located 95 km from Tromsø Airport, included a 40 min ferry ride. The cabin has 2 brand new kayaks available for the guests. The space Vannøya is an island located north of Tromsø, with the Barents Sea as the closest neighbor. The nature is magnificent; from the lovely summer nights with the midnight sun, to the harsh winter storms with waving northern light. The island has a great population of Sea Eagles, as well as reindeers, moose and rabbits, to name a few. The most popular fishing here is the halibut fishing, as well as the arctic cod "skrei". Note that there is no poisenous animals on the island, so the place is safe for hiking. Other things to note One is dependent on a ferry and thus its time tables to get to/from the island.
