House on the Nemunas shore “Nemunas canyons”

A homestead in Dzūkija National Park for a couple, family or small company. Perfect tranquility on the picturesque Nemunas cliff, overlooking the island. Many opportunities and various activities both outdoors and indoors. Great sauna, spacious terrace for cozy evenings, board games, books, grill, fireplace, space for sports, opportunities for hiking around the homestead. For the joy of children - a trampoline, hammocks, a tree house, a woodpile for hide and seek and a pond for swimming. A tent town can be set up in the meadow by the cottage. The space We value naturalness and a friendly relationship with nature. We built the house - sauna with our own hands in the wonderful surroundings of Dzūkija nature. The cottage has all the necessary amenities for individual, family or small company recreation. The first floor has a sauna, a bath and a toilet, a kitchen and a spacious veranda for a common stay. The second floor has two bedrooms. The western one has two single beds or one king size bed. The east-facing bedroom has 4 separate beds (with the possibility of pushing two into a king size bed for a couple or family). You will not find wifi or TV in the cottage, but you will have fresh air, a choir of birds, the opportunity to warm up the living environment in a natural way - by lighting a fire. The bathroom has a boiler, you can enjoy warm water and an outdoor shower next to the garden. We offer to try a great sauna (+20 eur for firewood) and refreshment in the pond of springs dug in the yard. A little further away from the house there is a fireplace for grilling and chilling. The garden has soothing hammocks, a trampoline and a tree house for children, an outdoor shower, and a comfortable spacious outdoor terrace for evening. A tent town (up to 10 units) can be set up in the nearby meadow. In addition, climbing the steep slopes of the Nemunas River is sometimes equivalent to the challenges of mountaineering. You can come by canoeing the Nemunas and here you will find a comfortable rest with the pleasures of the sauna. Since we ourselves love to spend our free time here, it should be said that we share the house, not provide hotel services. So don't be surprised to find personal belongings here (which we ask you not to take away) and local bees Tetralonia honey - which we are happy to invite you to enjoy! :) *Tetralonia - an endangered Lithuanian bee, included in the Red Book, is found in our homestead. Guest access You will have free access to the entire cottage and large yard. In addition, the house being restored behind the "canyon" also belongs to us - so you can walk around its territory with confidence. Other things to note By prior arrangement, we can provide a hot tub for outdoor bathing. Price 80 eur. For guests staying in tents, the price of accommodation is 5 euros per person.
