The space Part of the stable of the old farmhouse, which used to house the cows and later in the 1980s housed Galerie Toonbeeld, has now been transformed into an attractive B&B with still a lot of art on the wall and beautiful books in the bookcase. From the stable, the old ribbon is still easily recognizable. Guests have access to a cozy living space with a large dining/work table and chairs, a seat with sofa and armchair, television with Netflix and You Tube, radio, internet wifi and coffee/tea equipment including pads, refrigerator, and microwave. In the bedroom there is a double bed, which can also be transformed into two single beds. Het Zevende Leven is a beautiful place to relax, enjoy nature in the Alde Feanen and take walks and bike rides. The beautiful city of Leeuwarden is close by and there are good public transport options. In short, a place where you can feel at home, alone or with two and in every season. Guest access You have your own cozy living room, bedroom and bathroom. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the sunny garden. The B&B has its own entrance. Other things to note On April 26, 1888, the Wargaaster carpenter Ate Kamsma completed the construction/renovation of this farmhouse. We found a piece of wood with his signature on the back of the bed bulkhead. Now, some 140 years later, the result of his work still stands proudly! After farm business, clog trade, agricultural shop, vegetable trade, gallery and studio, the property has started its seventh life. If you have no transport, no need, we will pick you up and bring you to and from the train station in Leeuwarden for free! The area is great for all kinds of water recreation such as sailing, swimming, paddle boarding, and much more. Eernewoude and Grouw are within cycling distance. Wergea is a nice base for trips to the Ijsselmeer towns such as Workum, Hindeloopen, Staveren and of course the Wadden Islands Ameland, Schiermonnikoog, Terschelling and Vlieland.
