Description
Cobblers Loft is a self-contained luxury second-floor townhouse with its own access in the centre of Bakewell. It has three bedrooms plus a large top-floor suite with TV, shower room, king-size bed, and sofa bed. There is free WI-FI throughout and a public indoor swimming pool 1 minute’s walk away. Easily accessible to a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, and pubs. Plenty of walks nearby including the Monsal Trail and the local Bakewell swimming pool for rainy days. The space The townhouse is located on Matlock Street in the centre of Bakewell. On entering, there is an entrance hall for hanging coats and shoes where you are met with a flight of stairs to take you up to the living areas. On the FIRST FLOOR is the spacious kitchen with a dishwasher, built-in fridge freezer, built-in oven, and hob. There is also a dining table with 4 chairs and a high chair. The living room is equipped with a large-screen smart TV, DVD player, leather sofas, and a large dining table with further seating. The SECOND FLOOR has a good-sized double bedroom and a further 2 good-sized bedrooms with full-size bunk beds. A shower room with a large shower, toilet, and sink is located on this floor. The THIRD FLOOR has been arranged to form a mini suite with a King-sized bed, a leather sofa (thatdoubles as a sofa bed if required), and a good-sized shower room including a toilet. There is also a television that can be viewed from the sofa or swung around to the King-sized bed. Up to 2 dogs allowed which must not be allowed upstairs. Supplement applies. Guest access Guests have use of the whole property, which has its own access from Matlock Street, in the centre of Bakewell. Cobblers Loft is not suitable for people unable to climb stairs. Other things to note Wi-Fi Internet - There is free Wi-Fi throughout, and the smart TV in the living room will allow you to log into your own streaming service. PARKING - You can stop your car on the double yellow lines outside the apartment to load and unload. 10 metres away, it changes to a single yellow line where you can park for free in the evenings between 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. There is also free on-street parking on Station Road or Holme Lane (both 10 minutes’ walk away), or there is a large pay & display long-stay car park on New Street just 2 minutes’ walk from the apartment. Scratch cards provide discounted parking and once activated can be used in lots of car parks around the Derbyshire Dales. Scratch cards are available from the swimming pool, which is just 1 minute’s walk from the apartment, or you can buy them in advance from the Derbyshire Dales Council website. There is a public indoor swimming pool just around the corner on Granby Road. Long term bookings are allowed and are heavily discounted. Please note that no maid service is provided during your stay. A spare set of bedding and towels may be provided upon request.
