Tom’s Room has a queen size pillow top mattress, 2 large closets, and a large bay window overlooking our back yard, Pikes Peak and the Sangre de Cristos. Journey’s End is a ‘Certified Wildlife Habitat’ and we have several walking trails on our 35 acres for viewing our wildlife, rock formations, and Ute culturally modified trees. Our home is ideal for a quiet getaway or as a central base for the many area adventures and attractions. Summer roads are over & roads are newly graded. Vet owned. The space Tom's room, like all bedrooms at Journey’s End, has a TV with cable and DVD player. Guests also have access to a single serve coffee maker, tea pot, all the fixings, and a basket of organic fresh fruit and goodies outside the door on the upstairs landing. There is a private, lockable access into a Jack & Jill bathroom from Tom’s Room. Guest access Guests will also have access to a large morning or gathering room downstairs from which to view some especially beautiful sunsets each afternoon over the Sangre de Cristos. Guests are also invited to use our deck off the morning room to lounge, snack, or enjoy the hot tub. During your stay This is our home, and one of us will be here at all times. Please ask if you require assistance or just want to chat. Other things to note Our home is off the beaten path, which is a large part of its charm. But we have never lost a guest yet! Our directions are good, but if you have difficulty, please do not hesitate to give us a shout, and we will be more than happy to guide you in. We love our pets. If you intend to bring your fur baby, please note that we require prior approval and a $50 per stay surcharge. Dogs over 20 lbs. will be required to sleep in our heated / air conditioned and comfortable mudroom. An extra cleaning fee may be required for major accidents. Edit
