House in the Woods by the Sea

Perfect for a private getaway, our spacious cosy country house is located on the island of Hiiumaa amidst magnificent pine forest just off the coast of the Baltic Sea. The house is great for couples, solo adventurers, families with kids and bigger groups. NB In the summer / weekends we recommend booking ferry tickets (refundable) well in advance to avoid unnecessary surprises at the port :) We are happy to help you with any questions you may have in Estonian, Russian and English. The space The house has two floors: 1 floor - a spacious common area with comfortable large sofa, TV and a fireplace, private sauna with shower room, laundry room and toilet, kitchen with a dining table that seats 10-12 people comfortably, extra toilet. There is also an outdoor terrace with BBQ equipment. 2 floor - four en-suite bed rooms with shower room and toilet. The bedrooms have a total capacity for 19 people (12 beds). It is possible to add extra mattresses / portable beds on request free of charge. There is space in front of the house for car parking. Guest access You have access to the entire house. The owners reside in a nearby house few minutes away. Other things to note * You will have complete privacy and independence in the house which also means we expect you to tidy up after yourself and leave our house in the condition we presented it to you :) * When making a booking please allow up to a week before your desired check-in time. It is possible, when the notice is too short, that sometimes we might not be able to accommodate. * We will provide blankets and pillows but we recommend you bring your own bedding (sheets and cases). In case you are not able to bring your own we can help you of course but unfortunately we’ll have to charge 5 EUR per bed. * Similarly we have towels available but will have to charge 2 EUR per larger bath towel and 1 EUR per smaller hand towel. * The kitchen is fully equipped and includes espresso and filter coffee makers for beans and ground coffee, two refrigerators, freezer, microwave, electric oven, wood-fired oven, electric smooth cooktop, electric juice press, small blender, hand blender, dishwasher, dishes and silverware, pots and pans, spring-forms, salt and pepper, water filter (the water is safe for drinking but may exhibit a slight sulfur smell, which is natural to the groundwater in this region; the filter reduces the smell but we primarily use the filtered water to reduce limescale damage to kitchen equipment).
