Guest room "Balken" in "GlücksGriff"

This place is right in the heart of Glückstadt. It is one of 5 guest rooms in our "GlücksGriff" accommodation. In addition to a large double bed, there is a private bathroom and seating that invite you to linger. For a little entertainment, a TV with satellite connection is available. There is also an adjoining bicycle garage for storing bicycles. Just ask us for a corresponding key. The space The room "Balken" got its name from the beams in the slope above the large double bed :-). It is located on the 2nd floor of the accommodation, where there is only one more room. The large skylight floods the room with light. The bathroom is also equipped with a double window. On all windows there are pleats for darkening and privacy. In the hallway there is a small communal fridge where drinks or the like can be kept cold. If it gets a little warmer in the summer, a large standing fan is available in the room. Guest access All rooms have free access to a small and modernly furnished communal kitchen, which offers the following amenities: Fridge + freezer, stove, microwave oven combo unit, toaster, dishwasher, dishes + cutlery, pots + pans, glasses + cups. There are also seats where you can eat the food you brought with you. At the coffee bar in the hallway, there are free coffee variations from a pod machine. Other things to note The city center or old town of Glückstadt is a bit winding and there are many small one-way streets. The property is located in one of the most beautiful streets of the old town of Glückstadt, but unfortunately the parking possibilities are limited there. Cars can park for free in the streets for up to 2 hours. Just ask us for a guest parking pass or park a few streets away in a free parking space. From the property, it is only 100 m to the market square and also only 100 m to the harbor. The train station and the local outdoor swimming pool (heated) are only about 500 m away and are also within walking distance.
