The Barn New Forest Log Burner free logs/Zip wire

The Barn is a beautiful oak framed building that has been in it's present location for a few hundred years. previously it was a thatched cow barn. This was then dismantled and the present building erected about 20 years ago. For more information on the history of The Barn, you can follow me. #thebarnnewforest The space We have 4 houses on our site of which The Barn is the only one we rent out. The Barn has it's own private garden and is completely self contained. The rooms are all very large and airy. The lounge is a very large room with an incredible vaulted ceiling, displaying Oak beams. Bedroom 1 is downstairs with en suite, the remaining 2 other bedrooms and family bathroom are upstairs. We have a very large and comfortable King size sofa bed in the dining area that will accommodate 2 adults. There are two steps down into the lounge, with a grab rail for accessibility. We have a beautiful 2 acre lake on site with many natural wildlife including a variety of wild birds. Deer can often be seen on the garden and in the grounds. We have a forest gate which leads straight onto the New Forest with miles of walking available. We have recently started paddle boarding on our lake and have found it to be a very relaxing way to exercise. It's very easy to do. We would recommend that if you wish to jump off the paddle boards and swim in the lake that you bring your own wetsuit but you can easily paddle board in shorts and t-shirt. You may find that some of our friendly ducks come and swim along side you. We also have our own 100 metre zip wire on site which is great fun. Guests will need to complete disclaimers before taking part in either of these two activities though. Please note that if you use the Zip wire or paddle boards without completing the disclaimers, it will be assumed that you agree with all of the conditions on the disclaimers and all activities are at your own risk. A breakfast hamper will be provided at the start of your stay and should last for the duration of your stay. We welcome one well behaved dog to The Barn for no extra charge. If you wish to bring more than one dog, please message before booking. There will be an extra cleaning charge of £50 per dog if you wish to bring more than one dog. Please note that The Barn has 3 bedrooms and 1 King Sofa bed in the open plan living area. Airbnb have changed the way that Listings are shown so its not possible to explain this in the photos . Guest access The Barn has it's own private rear garden for guest's use. We would ask that guests respect our private space but are welcome to walk round the perimeter of our property and in any fieldsthat do not have animals in them. We would ask guests to not walk or allow their dog in any field that has animals in it. We have horses and chickens. There is a forest gate allows direct access the New Forest. Other things to note We are 20-30 minutes from several different beautiful sandy beaches. 30 minutes from the historic city of Salisbury and the New Forest is outside our gate. Paulton's Park and Peppa Pig world are just 25 minutes away. Moors Valley Country Park is just 10 minutes away. There's plenty to do and see in our beautiful area. Free os site paddle boarding is available April to September inclusive. It may be possible outside these dates by prior arrangement.
