Small Rustic Italian Home -
Description
I welcome you to my small rustic two bedroom, 1/5 bath home - it's clean and quaint & If you have ever wanted know what it was like to live in a small Italian village - you are at the perfect spot. It is romantic, and perfect for day tripping!, My Friend Tricia visited in May 2018 and said the following; "When someone says "that was the best trip of my life", we often do not believe them. Well, I have to say, this was the best trip of my life. Vince was a wonderful host. The space This home is a tiny village in Galdo Degli Alburni. There are two queen beds and a nice bathroom and shower upstairs, the views of the area and the fresh mountain air make this a great place to just unwind and forget about things for a while. It is also quite romantic. Tricia also said this "His home was so comfortable and absolutely lovely. Visiting Naples, Herculanum, Paestum, Vietri, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Positano, and others, were wonderful and easy day trips. However, the best part of my trip was the town of Galdo. This little town and its people touched my heart in a way I did not expect to happen. Each morning I couldn't wait to open my bedroom windows to the most incredible view (think, "Under the Tuscan Sun"). Guest access You will have access to the entire home. Gas Stove for cooking, washing machine, oil furnace for heat and fans in the summer- remember it is in the mountains so it gets cool at night even in August. You will not have access to the Cantina, and second Kitchen in basement bellow the house. Other things to note The Amalfi Coast, Vietri, Sorento, Naples, Pompeii, Maratea, Paestum are all very close by car and worth visiting. Sicily is a 5 hour drive, Rome is a 3 hour. One can see the primary attraction and be home by 10-11 PM - I have done this many times. The Beaches are awesome- I highly recommend Maratea and Paestum.
