The space This listing is the guest house, enter from the alley and private parking for up to two cars at 415 1/2 This is a one bedroom with a queen size bed and a couch that will also fold down into queen size bed. We supply all regulars a hotel would like bedding, pillows, towels and soaps. You will also have a Keurig with a few coffees and all of the necessities for cooking, plates and silverware, a toaster microwave, blender and even dish and hand soap. You shouldn’t need anything and even a brand new flat top stove, we supply the pots and pans if you want to whip something up. Great location right in the middle of the historic district in Springfield and four blocks to two of the best brewery locations in Eugene or Springfield, Planktown and The Public House, converted from an old church into a brewery with food carts style restaurants inside as well. Traveling nurses!! Just three miles to Riverbend hospital or a 9 minute commute and even closer for McKenzie Willamette, which is just an 8 block walk if you like. Just three miles to Autzen Stadium, or Downtown Eugene and only 2.6 miles to Matt Knight arena which is located right on the Oregon campus. I know this is a different city than Eugene but traffic coming from Springfield towards these event sites is a much easier commute than most listed Eugene bnb’s. The longest commute in in Eug/Spfd is generally 20 minutes but it’s just a quick five minutes to campus or Autzen or even downtown Eugene. Yes!! We have air conditioning. House is generally pretty cool but the ac keeps it from getting too hot and stuffy in the evening. Ceiling fan in the bedroom and living room also. Got a bike? We are about a half mile to the bike trail that runs along the Willamette River for miles. It would actually be a faster commute to the football games if you had a bike and Autzen always has bike parking for the events. Guest access The entire guest house will be available to you without interruption from us, the owners. There’s parking for at least two cars with access from the alley off of 4th street. A small from porch and a bench outside if you feel like hanging out. The driveway is private and although the home is nearby to the main house, your coming and going is generally not noticed. Other things to note There is a camera on the front porch facing the parking area. We’ve had too many people smoking and sneaking in extra people. If it appears this is happening we have the option to pull up the video. As hosts we live in the front house but absolutely do not even look at the video unless we think there is a problem; cigarette smoke, excessive night noise. We own and run a small business in Downtown Springfield and both work more than full time so we don't have time to sit and watch video.
