Rainbow Cove-Waterfront on Private Cove

Welcome to Rainbow Cove Cabin, a private oasis nestled in a quiet cove away from much of the tubing traffic on the Rainbow River but only seconds to the open Rainbow River with the kayaks included in your rental. You can also bring your boat and tie to our private dock and enjoy the 5.7 miles of pristine crystal clear Rainbow River. Although not a direct view of Rainbow River, our beautiful private waterfront cove directly adjoins Rainbow River for a memorable vacation. The space Just imagine waking up and walking down to your own private dock on Rainbow River and launching a kayak for an early morning paddle up or down the 5.6 miles of crystal clear Rainbow River with year-round temps of 73 degrees. Right around the corner from our gorgeous cove with breathtaking old Florida Charm, you will be pleasantly delighted to see a family of river otters, turtles, and plenty of wild native birds, and the river is so clear you can see the fish swimming alongside you. Nearby, you can take day trips and experience scalloping and swimming with the manatees in Crystal River (less than 20 minutes away). Rainbow Springs State Park is only a 5-minute drive, and you can view waterfalls and gardens and enjoy a picnic area with grills and pavilions. So much to do or do nothing at all.... Rainbow Cove offers the perfect place to enjoy relaxation and privacy. Fish from our private dock in our beautiful private cove, enjoy and relax in our hammocks, or sit around the fire pit and listen to nature sing. Inside, you will enjoy the beauty and comfort of a log cabin feel. The main living room of this home offers stunning tongue and groove vaulted ceilings. The dining room allows for great entertaining as it is open to both the kitchen and living room and provides large sliders to a large deck where you can enjoy the beautiful abundance of peaceful wildlife, including hummingbirds. Enjoy movie night with the abundance of DVDs provided, or use of Xfinity high speed internet to stream on the two big screen TVs provided (one upstairs in the main living room above the fireplace mantel with Amazon Firestick and Netflix; and TV #2 is downstairs in the bonus room - perfect for the kiddos), enjoy a fun-filled evening of Game Night with a variety of board games provided in the Log Bunk Bedroom. Sleeping arrangements: Downstairs, we have a separate bathroom with a very nice walk-in shower, and a private master bedroom with a King-size bed. You will also find the Bonus Room downstairs, which includes a Twin over Twin bunk bed and a Futon that pulls out into a double bed. Upstairs, we have the Serenity bedroom with a queen size bed. And then Bedroom #3 upstairs is the Log Bunk Bedroom, which includes a beautiful log bunk bed (Full over Queen beds!) and a log twin bed beside it, allowing up to 5 people in the Log Bunk Bedroom. Outside, we have a fire pit for your evening of Smores and sitting around the campfire. Firewood is available at Winn Dixie, which is just around the corner. We also have a propane gas grill for all of your BBQ needs. However, using the grill will require cleaning it prior to your checkout and refilling the propane tank. If you need to refill propane gas during your stay, you can bring propane tanks to Winn Dixie to exchange. For boat lovers planning to stay at Rainbow Cove, you can bring your boat and trailer with you and either tie your boat to our private dock or park your boat and trailer on our property. The property is big enough for many vehicles and a boat and trailer for those wanting to bring their boat and enjoy Rainbow River on their boat. Crystal River is only 25 minutes away, so please feel free to bring your boat during scalloping season. PLEASE NOTE: Per our community rules, motor homes, campers, ATVs, and RVs are not allowed. Guest access Also included in your rental at no extra charge is the ability to use Rio Vista Park, a private park around the corner from our property with a boat ramp, pavilion, BBQ area, volleyball court, swim area, and fishing along the shore. The boat ramp is perfect for families bringing their boats. You can launch from the Rio Vista boat ramp and bring and tie your boat up at Rainbow Cove's private dock during your stay. You will need the Key Card from the house before going to the park.I include Rio Vista Park in your rental at no extra cost. Great for Family Reunions! It is a great location to enjoy all that Nature Coast and Rainbow River offer. We look forward to your stay here at Rainbow Cove. Other things to note *Rainbow Cove comes with Xfinity High-Speed Internet, Amazon Fire Stick, and Netflix, which give you access to hundreds of free movies online. HDMI cables are available for both TVs. *Please send a special request if more than 10 guests will be staying, as there is an additional $25 per person per night charge. *We are very firm about the No-Smoking Policy. If there is any evidence of smoking on the premises, inside or on the deck, we will need to remedy the smoke smell and/or stains, and all costs will be submitted to the Airbnb Claims Department for reimbursement. *We also have a propane gas grill for your BBQ needs. However, using the grill will require cleaning it prior to your checkout and refilling the propane tank. If you need to refill propane gas during your stay, you can bring propane tanks to Winn Dixie to exchange the propane tank. Failure to clean the grill or refill the propane tank prior to check-out will require me to request reimbursement from Airbnb through the Claims Department. *Please be advised that I cannot guarantee how many kayaks will be available when you check in. I do try to keep 5 single-rider kayaks and have more than 10 life jackets there at all times. However, sometimes guests damage the outdoor amenities without notifying me, and then I have to order new kayaks. Many times, the local Walmart does not carry them in their store, and I have to order online, so please be respectful of my kayaks so all guests staying at the cabin can enjoy these amenities. *Please Note: Too many guests have been careless with my kayaks and the paddles I include at no charge with your rental. I have a cleaning team taking pictures of the kayaks and a full count of the paddles before and after your check-out. If there is damage to the kayaks or missing paddles, I will request a claim through Airbnb for reimbursement. Please respect these awesome amenities I am providing you at no extra charge so you and your group can enjoy the beautiful Rainbow River.
